Geary Buchanan founded Buchanan Hauling & Rigging in June 1996, building on his 24 years of experience as a trucking owner-operator. The business started small with one truck and two trailers, founded on the belief that hard work and outstanding service would lead to success. Geary aimed to outdo competitors by providing high-quality transportation at competitive prices, developing long-lasting business relationships, and generating valuable job opportunities for drivers and owner-operators.

Since its inception, Buchanan Hauling has grown significantly while staying dedicated to improving service. The company now handles over 160,000 loads annually with a fleet of 200 power units and more than 900 trailers. Supported by a team of 600 skilled professionals, Buchanan values feedback from customers and vendors as it continually seeks to enhance its services. We are proud to provide service to all of North America with no trans-loading at the borders of Canada or Mexico.
